This area of HR is covered by ACAS Codes of Practice, and there are financial implications if process is not followed. We would always recommend that if you are considering a restructure or contract changes, that you seek appropriate legal and HR advice before you start.
What it Costs
We want to be fair to you and many of our clients under-estimate the time it takes to carry out organisational change, even smaller projects can take months, rather than weeks or days.
For this type of project work, we would charge an Outside IR35 day rate, set and agreed at the beginning of the contract. The rate would differ according to the skillset you require. Please contact us for a specific quote, but typically market rates is in the region of £500 per day for a fully qualified HR Consultant or Change Manager.
We may also partner with other agencies, such as employment law specialists, or Outplacement Support Specialists to support your workforce where redundancies are a possibility.
